Nature does not draw in straight lines. Bloom follows this. The palette is the palette of the earth in full season — red, yellow, green, blue, brown — colors that have existed in soil and plant and sky long before they existed in wool. The forms answer to nothing but themselves.
There is no governing geometry here, no grid to test. The return weave allows the design to move freely in any direction, and Bloom takes that freedom entirely. Each piece is a field, not a plan.
The fringe is hidden on the reverse face. The rug is designed for one side — the design lives on one surface. The reverse is clean.
